It’s that time of year again. Holiday shoppers are out hunting down as many deals as they can find. I hope you have been reminding your audience that your books would make great gifts!

If using social media to communicate with your audience, putting a little ad spend behind a post can help with conversion. It also can help to offer your book at a discount, if you have the ability to control the price. Shoppers are bombarded with purchase opportunities right now, all vying for their attention. Often the best deal wins their buy. Discount announcements can also increase a post’s “shares,” too, as your followers want their friends to see the good deal they can get on your books.

Although December is an important sales month, I hope you all have moments where you can slow down and appreciate the season. It’s not all about hitting sales goals, of course.
