Ok I love that we're getting marketing lessons from dirty diapers and wet beds hehehe. I think this can apply to marketing and to creativity in general, too. Maybe the kind of thing we're making or our processes for making it have stopped feeling good or stopped being productive. Switching things up doesn't mean all our old efforts have gone to waste!
Good advice (and baby metaphor!). One thing we all have to puzzle through is the ROI of our literary time and investment.
This is perfect timing for me. I have a book releasing at the end of May, and I'm trying to think of ways to market differently. Thanks, Emily.
I'm so glad this was what you needed! Best of luck as you find new marketing paths!

Exactly! Nothing is wasted!
Emily,
Great piece
I went to a conference
For hospitality workers
An industry mogul said
Every restaurant
Every restaurant
Every restaurant that he
And his team opened
Each one of them had
A precise template of
Goals, projections and aspirations
The mogul went on to say
No concept
No matter how well planned
Or staffed made money easily
Out of the gate
Adjustments are constant
On the pathway to success
PS, I get inspired by your wise insights
Thank You
Danny Klecko
Thank you so much, Klecko!! That means a lot coming from you!
